Last one of these I did was in March, whaaaaat.
As a general FYI, I start my five week summer session on Monday so I anticipate my tagging slowing down a bit. Otherwise my plans will still be the same, I just have to figure out how to balance everything once I get through the first week.
Oliver's so content right now it's pretty disgusting. XD He's befriended Derek and had some issue with him and Thea along the way, but now his close friends who aren't his girlfriend or sister is a list of...3. Yay Oliver!
August is the month I want to kick off the bratva plot I've been meaning to do all year. It'll be a mini plot, and I WILL email relevant/interested parties before this weekend is over. Kick me if I don't.
I'm still toying with the idea of canon updating him (and Felicity?) to somewhere toward the end of s3, but the way things played out, it wouldn't have as much of a dramatic impact except for his relationship with Thea. Speaking of which, there is a Conversation they need to eventually have.
I'm going to try throwing him at new people whenever I can for the rest of the year, since he's feeling okay about being Oliver again, and not some built up image he can't ever hope to be. Having a tortured past doesn't mean he has to KEEP torturing himself, and having a relatively normal life with Felicity and making friends has helped him see that.
Well, Seeing Stones fucked Terry up, and fucked her up good. She basically got to feel every bit of her grief about (baby) Sean all over again, and she's finally resurfacing after a couple of months of dealing with it. The last month or so has seen her probably spending more time out, attempting to find things that will give her purpose or just distract her and make her happy for a few hours. Eventually it will all add up and she'll be okay.
Then there's Kotetsu, who she's started to develop feelings for but doesn't know if she could ever act on them?? Because she's had terrible experiences with relationships in the past (I'm serious, TERRIBLE) and doesn't know how to approach one without constantly waiting for the shoe to drop. So there's that. Di, prepare for a wordy email about this soon, I have ideas. :P
Also, I think she's going to get a pet cat. Probably a grumpy little asshole so it can earn the Cassidy name.
Claire had a baby! She's over the moon about Ellen (who we named differently and intend to be just different enough from Brianna in the very slight chance that someone would want to app her in the future) and her little family now. I think it will take a couple of months before she starts to feel like she wants to get back to being productive in the city.
She's also had some interesting tags with a variety of characters that I've enjoyed for all sorts of reasons. I'm very intrigued by her developing a friendship with Harley, and I love the idea of Claire and Hermione being friends as well. Poor Jamie and Ron.
I don't have any solid plans for Claire right now, so the next couple of months will be tagging her around and seeing what happens.
Oh my god, is this idiot happy. He and Clarke got together (his own stupidity aside) and are incredibly happy about it. Except Lina and I are terrible people and decided they couldn't have too much happiness all at once and have thrown them into a timeloop of constant death. Go team us!
I don't have many plans for Bellamy other than the timeloop and whatever sappy threads he can get with Clarke, but I do want to eventually get him DOING something in the City. He needs so little that he doesn't work to earn more money, but Clarke got a new receptionist job and he's starting to feel like he needs to be productive.
I thought about having him show interest in the police academy since he was on track to be a guard on the Ark, but that ship has long since sailed. And I don't think he'd want something with so much responsibility, especially when he doesn't have Octavia. (WHO HE MISSES. SO. MUCH.) I'll figure something out for him, but if you have any ideas throw them at me.
I'm hella surprised and happy at the varied threads Bianca has going on. She's befriended Derek and Hild, who she likes a lot, and found a somewhat kindred movie-loving spirit in Neil. Every thread I have is a joy and it's refreshing to have a pup who comes from a light hearted, normal canon. No near death experiences, no PTSD, no lost children or dead family members or apocalypses to deal with. SHE'S JUST NORMAL AND IT'S AWESOME.
I don't think she'll want to enroll in Darrow High when the fall starts, but will probably finish out a GED program and start looking at colleges. I'll probably have her get an internship at the newspaper and find her a job.
If you ever want to throw someone at her, PLEASE DO.
FUTURE
Steve Rogers is up next, after being pushed down because of Bianca. Still terrified about apping him, but also incredibly excited. So many relationships in Darrow to pursue, so much to think about. Also HYDRA is hanging around somewhere? They need some face punching.
Then probably Iris West after a Flash re-watch, because Iris the actual best and there's SO MUCH to work with from the finale. ESPECIALLY IF BARRY IS IN THE GAME.
And Billy Kaplan is forever in my queue. I want to see what happens with him after Secret Wars before I decide anything for sure.
